Investigating the health effects of ‘first milk’
Christine Crooks, a PhD candidate at the Albany campus, attracted considerable attention last year with her study that showed colostrum supplements may boost immunity levels in marathon runners. She is about to undertake further research on the effects of bovine colostrum on levels of the antibody IgA in saliva.
